Fluoridation of Drinking Water: Questioning the Accepted Chemistry
February 16, 2025 | Article: 15 minutes to readThis document is in regard to the use of 22% solutions of hexafluorosilicic acid and its sodium salt in the fluoridation of drinking water. It questions whether either compound is the active ingredient in providing the fluoride ion. Rather it is suggests the active ingredient, in the use of either mixture, is hydrogen fluoride, and that both are “contaminants” in the fluoridation process. This conclusion is considered to be significant because there is evidence in the literature that those “contaminants” are associated with lung and bladder cancers
